Saturday, October 24, 2009: LOCAL/ OLYMPIANS:
Christine Magnuson, a 2008 two-time Olympic silver medalist, demonstrates a breathing technique in the Butterfly during a clinic for young swimmers at the 2009-2010 Fitter & Faster Tour at the Keating Natatorium at St. Xavier High School, Saturday, October 24. Magnuson, along with Olympians Peter Vanderkaay and Mark Gangloff conducted a swimming clinic for nearly 70 kids from the area. Also participating was Nick Thoman, from Cincinnati, a 2008 US Open Champion in the 100 and 200 meter Backstroke. The clinic was hosted by the Cincinnati Marlins.
